As of March 1, Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief is the top grossing film of 2010 worldwide, according to Box Office Mojo. The film has grossed $167.3 million, edging out Valentine's Day, which grossed $155.2 million.

In its first week of release, Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief came in second at the box office to Valentine's Day. The top five movies of the week were:
